June 26: Day Two

Hola mi gente. So today I fully stocked the refrig at work to make sure I had all my meals ready to go. My apologies to my boss because there isn't any room for his food. Ahahaha!!!

Whoo let me tell you, I am sore from that darn fit test. So glad that is over because those push-ups really did me in. On day two our workout was upper body. We did the "normal" warm-up which I call mini workout before we workout. lol. It kills me every single time. But my goal is to push through it and get it done. We worked on our upper body. Yes, more push-ups. Ah, I have a love hate with them but I will working on that. But I felt great after that workout for sure.

For dinner I made this awesome Avocado Lime Chicken Salad (no mayo, salt) with a hint of pepper flakes, cilantro, & fresh lime juice. It was to die for.

June 27: Day Three

Check out my lunch. Edamame, sautéed cabbage with pepper flakes (spicy food is my thing), and lentil soup (homemade by ME).

Todays workout was challenage for real. I mean I knew my core was weak but dang its really weak weak. :( But then again I had a baby almost 11 months ago so it is expected. But I do know that if I continue to work hard and continue on my journey, that will all change. Looking forward to that change. Yea Yea!!! ;-)

Did someone day dinner time???

I will have to say that I am excited to share that I'm having an awesome time cooking all my meals. I LOVE cooking so all this is great for me. Cooking is theraputic for me. Lol. Anyhow, I have been searching for all kind of "clean" recipes. Even though I still have so much to learn, I am on the right path. I hope to feed my daugther some of the yummy recipes so she can start eating healthy too. :) I found this cool website that you need to check out http://www.edibleharmony.com/ . It has some unbelievable, delicious recipes. Whole Food trip is necessary because I need to stock up on some basics ingredients so I can get creative in the kitchen. Yum!

June 28: Day Four

Okay so today was a good busy stressful day in the life of Glodil. But I keep trekking along. I had some good meals today. Lunch was delicious along with my snacks. Sorry no photos of them. :(
I arrive early to the Worx hoping to feed my baby before class, only to realize how hungry I was. Who is going to feed me??? Lol. I munched on some almonds, spicy peanuts, and some seaweed chips thanks to a fellow journeyman.

I feel horrible because I do not remember the coaches’ name from today's workout but girlfriend killed it. Honestly, I thought it was going to be an easy workout but within minutes I was dying and sweating like nobody's business. One thing I will say is that I am glad I had my girls: Veronica & Claudia by my side because she pushed me harder and working in our little team is always fun. I love it because I get to spend some real quality time. :) They push me and I push them. So thanks for the hardest workout I've had this whole week. Ooo I know I was going to sleep good this night.

My goal for the rest of the week is to get one good total body workout at the gym. Need to incorporate some strength training too. My motto: “gets it right, get it tight". ;)

Like Jay Z said “onto the next one”
